Vintage Western Electric thermistor, US Navy surplus, new old stock. These are very high quality devices and must have cost a fortune when new. Each unit comes packaged in a sealed wooden tube. Resistance is 1.6Kohm at 75 degrees and 1.41Kohm at body temperature.

ERG Smart Force Inverter, new old stock, minor shelf wear. These high voltage inverters will generate approximately 200 volts AC from 5 volts DC with no additional components. We don't have any specifications or data on this part, but as can be seen from the photo, one of these inverters will generate enough power to light a nixie tube. They also work well for neon bulbs and EL wire, and are perfect for building a portable nixie or neon bulb tester.

Though it resembles an integrated circuit, the IRC 7169 is actually a military precision resistor network containing 10 high-tolerance printed resistor surfaces. These devices are completely overengineered, with a white ceramic leadless carrier and gold leads, and cost over 30 dollars each back in 1991.

A kit to demonstrate the function of non-circular gears. The kit comes with two gears, upper and lower mounting plates, two shafts, and all of the fasteners and bushings shown in the photo. The gears and brackets are constructed from polished cut acrylic and provide a visually appealing display of this unusual mechanical linkage.

This is a diode 'plug in' module from a Burroughs B5000 mainframe. The Burroughs B5000, released in 1961, was a large commercial mainframe which contained many revolutionary features for the time, including multi-processing capability, instructions for handling strings, memory protection, and high modularity. The B5000's logic systems were built up of large square plug in modules, which contained a number of transistor and diode cards such as these. These plug cards are in good used condition, as shown in the image. Give yourself a legitimate reason to say "I Touched a B5000!"

Fiber optic lens, 27mm diameter, used with minor shelf wear. Fiber lenses are exotic specialized devices made from a bundle of fiber optics fused into a solid mass. These devices are fascinating to experiment with; images are transferred and projected to the upper curvature of the lens, and are also useful for coupling vidicons or image intensifier tubes to other optical fixtures.
