| Futaba TL-3508XA 'Jumbotron' flood beam CRT | |||||||||
| |
Sony / Futaba TL-3508XA 'Jumbotron' flood beam CRT module, used. This tube was removed from Edward Jones Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri. Although this display has minor damage to the ballistic glass panel, the actual display tube itself is unaffected. This module can be peeled like a hard-boiled egg, revealing the impressive Futaba display tube within.

| Sovtek IN-2 | |||||||||
| |
The IN-2 is the Soviet equivalent of tiny American tubes like the Burroughs 4021. The digit height on the IN-2 is 10mm and the envelope diameter is 17mm, which makes it slightly larger than a 4021. The IN-2 has a high domed front and a side nipple that exits the tube at a 45 degree angle to the digit, for multiple tube displays.

| Sperry SP-450 | |||||||||
| |
This board shown contains two large SP-450 panaplex displays. The SP-450 is a later model panaplex display that shows many of the manufacturing changes Beckman and others made to their designs as panaplex manufacturing techniques matured. Instead of using the black glass "bathtub" style envelope seen on earlier displays, the SP-450 uses a glass sandwich which is almost identical to the package seen on early LCD displays. All of the leads exit along the edge of the envelope instead of out of the back, and no provision is provided to socket the display for easy replacement. The display itself is 6 digit 7 segment with decimal points. There are also twelve triangular indicators on the sides of the display, normally the small triangle shaped cathodes inside of such a display are intended to be used as "keepalive" electrodes for faster striking, but the location of these cathodes in the package suggests that they may be intended for actual information display.

| Sovtek IV-15 | |||||||||
| |
The IV-15 is the Soviet analog to the popular DM160/6977 miniature tuning indicator tube. Like the DM160, the IV-15 does not have a variable length display, only the brightness can be changed. These tubes will illuminate nicely at 9VDC, filament voltage is 1.2 volts. These tubes are great for color-matched colon indicators in retro VFD tube clocks.

| Sperry SP-152 Panaplex Display | |||||||||
| |
Sperry SP-152 Panaplex display, tested, new old stock with minor shelf wear. The SP-152 is an early 'bathtub' style Panaplex display, with underside leads and a two-piece envelope. This display is designed to be used as an hours indicator in a twelve hour clock, and has a set of colon separators to the right of the least significant digit.

| NEC LD8113 | |||||||||
| |
NEC LD8113 tubes, new old stock. The tube's unusual segment arrangement allows a single tube to generate both numbers and signs, as well as some alphabetical characters. Though the tube appears to have 10 segments, the four horizontal and vertical segments in the center of the display are ganged together to form an 8-segment tube. This is a fairly large VFD tube, digit height is 14mm and envelope height is 43mm excluding the tube's nipple.
